Experience and reviews, clear hygiene standards, and honest advice. A good studio will also tell you if a particular piercing is likely to heal poorly for you or carries a disproportionate risk, and will work with you to find alternatives.
First, a thorough consultation on the type, placement, and jewelry choice. Then the procedure itself: cleaning, marking, the piercing, and inserting the jewelry. Afterwards we explain aftercare and you receive the right care products if needed. After about 6 weeks we offer a free follow-up check.
Yes. Some piercings leave barely visible traces, others a small scar — this varies from person to person. We're happy to advise you on how removal and the aftercare that follows work best.
Stay calm and don't force it — that can injure the channel. A drop of disinfectant or lubricant sometimes helps with carefully reinserting it. If you notice it late, come see us as soon as possible: we have methods to reopen a nearly closed channel, which can easily go wrong if you try it yourself.
Feel free to message us on WhatsApp with a photo, or come straight to the studio — depending on how urgent it is. Removing the piercing yourself is usually not the best solution, since it can easily trap an infection. For ingrown piercings: act quickly and contact us instead of waiting.
The service typically costs €5, since we use fresh gloves and sterilized tools for every change. It's free if you buy new jewelry from us worth €20 or more at the same time, or if the change happens as part of a new piercing appointment.
