What is an NFC implant?
An NFC chip implant is a tiny, biocompatible chip placed under the skin — usually between the thumb and index finger, though other placements are possible too. The chip uses the same NFC technology built into every modern smartphone: readable contactlessly, no battery, no maintenance. Depending on the model, it can unlock doors and locks, pass access control, or even make contactless payments.

How it works

You order your implant directly from our partner iamrobot.de or Upgraded Humans — depending on the function you want, e.g. door unlock, access control, or payment chip.
Appointment with us
Bring your order invoice to your appointment. We place the chip sterile and professionally — usually between the thumb and index finger.
Ready to use
After a short healing period, the chip is ready to use. The respective manufacturer remains responsible for technical support (programming, compatibility).
What to keep in mind
- We place the implant — the manufacturer (iamrobot.de or Upgraded Humans) remains responsible for the technology and support.
- The chip is a passive data carrier, it does not actively transmit and cannot be tracked.
- As with any procedure at our studio: sterile single-use materials and documented hygiene standards.

A supremely confident businesswoman — sharp, polished, professional — had her implant placed because she didn't want to dig for business cards at trade fairs and networking events anymore. She simply holds her hand near the other person's phone, and her digital business card pops up instantly: contact details, media, links, all there. For another client, the implant serves a very practical safety function: in an emergency, the most important information should be available immediately. There's also a small tattoo at that spot reading "In case of emergency, please scan NFC here" — the implant sits discreetly on the inside of the arm, just above the pulse.
